Ruby Faye Woolridge
Ruby Faye Woolridge was a member of the Arlington City Council in Texas, representing District 6. She assumed office on November 17, 2020. She left office on June 28, 2022.
Woolridge (Democratic Party) ran for election for Tarrant County District Clerk in Texas. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Woolridge also ran for election to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court to represent District 2 in Texas. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 1, 2022.
Ruby Faye Woolridge was born in Oktaha, Texas, and lives in Arlington, Texas. She earned a bachelor's degree from Northeastern State College in 1971 and an M.Ed. in counseling and administration from Northeastern State University in 1976. Woolridge completed the diaconal ministry program at Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology in 2003. Woolridge’s career experience includes working as a minister, a counselor, and an educator.[1][1]
